LinkedIn founder profile grader
Paste your LinkedIn headline, your About section and the opening lines of your last three posts. The grader scores four things buyers notice in the first ten seconds: positioning clarity, buyer specificity, proof and hook strength, and shows you what to fix first. It runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere unless you ask for the full report.
Get the full report
The on-page result shows your scores and top three fixes. The full report adds every check that failed, a fix for each, a line-by-line read of all three hooks and fill-in rewrites for your headline and About opening, laid out so you can save it as a PDF. Your scores are sent with the request so I can see where you are starting from.
What the grader checks
Positioning clarity (25 points)
Whether a stranger can tell from your headline what you do and for whom. It rewards a "who you help, with what" line, a headline that is more than a job title, and an About section whose first sentence says what you do in under 30 words. It deducts points for stacked titles and labels such as "visionary", "serial entrepreneur" or "thought leader" that every second profile uses.
Buyer specificity (25 points)
Whether your profile names a buyer narrowly enough that the right person thinks "this is for me": a role, an industry and a stage or size. "Businesses of all sizes" and "anyone who wants to grow" score zero, because a profile written for everyone is remembered by no one.
Proof (25 points)
Whether you back the claim with something checkable: numbers, years, things you built or shipped, named employers or products, and links. Unprovable superlatives ("world-class", "best-in-class", "leading") cost points.
Hook strength (25 points)
Whether the first line of each recent post earns the "see more" click: short enough to read at a glance, specific (a number, a name, a moment), carrying some tension, and free of stock openers such as "In today's fast-paced world" or "I'm excited to announce".
Frequently asked questions
Is this LinkedIn's own scoring?
No. LinkedIn does not publish a profile score. The grader applies fixed writing rules that make a founder profile easier for a buyer to understand and remember. It does not read your profile from LinkedIn; you paste the text.
Is my profile text stored?
No. Scoring happens in your browser. If you ask for the full report, only your email, your name if you give it and your four scores are sent, not your headline, About section or hooks.
What is a good score?
70 or more means a buyer can tell who you help and why to believe you. Fix the lowest of the four scores first.
Why grade only the last three hooks?
LinkedIn shows only the first few lines of a post before the "see more" cut, so the hook decides whether the rest is read at all. Three recent hooks show your habit, not one lucky post.
Can Wise Mango fix my profile for me?
