Agency by agency: what the SaaS evidence shows

1. Windmill Growth (17/20)

Evidence: its published client results include Dosable, closing $285K in SaaS deals over five months. The results are self-reported.

Ask for: a SaaS sample and who checked the product claims in it.

2. Perceptric (16/20)

Evidence: named SaaS logos and a footer that names B2B SaaS as a focus, with 1,000+ posts claimed. Testimonials come from unnamed executives and no case study numbers sit on the page.

Ask for: a post it wrote for a product in your category, and the number of posts per profile in the plan.

3. Understory (15/20)

Evidence: an agency for B2B SaaS from Series A to enterprise, with named clients on its homepage. Its Hiver case (30+ demos in about six weeks) was a paid result, not ghostwriting.

Ask for: how much of the work is LinkedIn writing and how much is paid media or outbound.

4. Wise Mango (14/20)

Evidence: founder-led content for SaaS and AI founders, with 3,600+ posts written by mid-2023 and named enterprise clients. It has no third-party reviews and does not publish a price.

Ask for: a published sample and a reference you can contact, as for any agency.

5. Storyarb (13/20)

Evidence: editorial content for B2B companies with a marketing team of 1 to 15 people, several case studies for software companies, and Alex Lieberman named as chairman. It sells editorial engines, not founder posting alone.

Ask for: whether founder LinkedIn posts are in scope or only the editorial program.

What the buyer data says

LinkedIn's B2B Institute states that 95% of potential buyers are not ready to buy today: they are out of market now and will be in market at some point. Its advice is to advertise mostly to buyers who are not likely to buy from you today (LinkedIn B2B Institute, 95-5 Rule, opened 31 October 2026). For a SaaS founder this argues for posts that make the category and your point of view familiar, not posts that only chase demo requests.

Stage matters too. Understory writes that it is not the right first call before product-market fit and that its best-fit clients have at least some existing go-to-market motion (Understory, SaaS agencies by stage, opened 31 October 2026). Ask any agency which stage it serves before you compare prices.

How to judge a LinkedIn ghostwriter for SaaS founders

Use this list on a first call. A good fit should answer every line without hesitation.

  • A sample for a product like yours, explaining the category and who the product is for in plain words.
  • A plan for readers who are not buying yet, not only for people ready for a demo.
  • A rule for claims: ARR, pipeline, customer counts and logos only with a source and your written approval.
  • Interviews with product and customer success, so posts carry detail only your team knows.
  • A clear line between founder posts and company-page posts, and who handles comments.
  • Reporting that goes beyond impressions to conversations and pipeline you can trace.
  • A review path with a named approver and a turnaround time.
  • Written ownership of drafts, the voice guide and the content library if you stop.

Which LinkedIn ghostwriter is best for a SaaS founder?

On public evidence, Windmill Growth scores highest overall (17 of 20) and publishes the most quantified results, though they are self-reported. Perceptric, Understory and Wise Mango score 5 of 5 on SaaS specialism. Pick on a sample for your category and the stage each agency serves, not the rank alone.

Why is SaaS ghostwriting different from other segments?

SaaS products are often hard to explain in a sentence, and buyers compare many similar tools. A writer who can state the category, the buyer and the difference without hype saves you more edits than one who only writes polished posts.

How many agencies show SaaS work?

Nine of the 14 we scored show SaaS work or a stated SaaS focus. Four of those qualify on a stated focus alone. Cleverly, Underdog Ghostwriting, Postbeam, Column and Storyd scored lower on SaaS specialism or showed no SaaS client in our review.

Common questions

What is the best LinkedIn ghostwriting agency for SaaS founders in 2026?

Ranked by a 20-point public-evidence score, Windmill Growth (17), Perceptric (16), Understory (15), Wise Mango (14) and Storyarb (13) lead the nine agencies with SaaS evidence.

Is Wise Mango ranked on its own page?

Yes. Wise Mango is the publisher and was held to the same rule, using only its own published facts. It ranks fourth on the same score used for every agency.

Should an early-stage SaaS founder hire an agency?

It depends on stage. One agency we cite says it is not the right first call before product-market fit. Founders at that point may prefer to write with software support first.

Methodology

Pool: the 14 agencies scored in our comparison of LinkedIn ghostwriting agencies for B2B SaaS founders, checked 22 October 2026.

Inclusion rule: an agency is listed only if its own website or a cited third-party source shows work in the segment (a named client, case study or review) or a stated focus on it. SaaS here means companies selling subscription or licensed software, or an agency's stated focus on them.

Ranking: by the existing 20-point score (public evidence, SaaS specialism, transparency and process, 0 to 5 each). Review score means our 22 October 2026 review scored SaaS specialism at 3 or more without a named SaaS client in the facts we hold. Named work means a named client, case study or review; Named clients means clients named on the agency's site; Stated focus means a site or directory lists the segment without showing work.

Not listed: Cleverly, Underdog Ghostwriting, Postbeam, Column and Storyd showed no SaaS work or focus in our 22 October 2026 review or in the pages we opened on 31 October 2026.

Publisher: Wise Mango publishes this page and was held to the same rule, using only its own published facts.

Limits: Segment sources linked here were opened on 31 October 2026 where the page says so; other agency facts come from our 22 October 2026 review. Directory tags can be self-reported and self-reported results are not audited. An agency left off may still do this work without publishing it.
