What does LinkedIn have to do for heads of product?
Product leaders are read by candidates (product managers, designers and engineers), peers, customers and investors. The posts that work show how you think: how you choose, how you say no, how you learn from customers. The constraint is what you cannot say, which includes the roadmap, customer data and anything a public company would treat as material.
What changes in the process for heads of product?
The exclusion list covers roadmap and unreleased features, customer research that identifies people, usage metrics, commercial terms, security issues and anything legal would review. Interviews focus on decisions: what you killed, how you found a real problem behind a request, how you handle disagreement with engineering or sales. Customer examples appear as labelled composites only if you approve them, or with permission.
Three sample topic angles
- A feature I killed, and the evidence that decided it.
- How I run discovery when customers ask for the wrong thing.
- What a good product spec leaves out.
These are starting points, not a content calendar. The real list comes out of the interviews, and nothing is published that you cannot stand behind.
What proof exists?
Wise Mango has no published product-leader case study. The Paras Saluja case on its case studies page describes content built around the founder's own work and background, with one post reaching 81,900 reactions in the first 45 days of 2023. It is a founder account in manufacturing, so treat it as evidence of method, not of fit. See the case studies for the figures and periods.
How does the engagement run?
- Two discovery calls, 60 minutes each. Business context, who you need to reach, the point of view you should be known for, and how you sound when you talk about your work. These produce a written voice guide.
- A written proposal. Deliverables, review rounds, responsibilities, fees and exclusions, in writing before you commit.
- Interviews, then drafts. Each cycle opens with a short conversation and closes with drafts matched to the voice guide. Shruti Kaushik writes and edits, AI supports drafting where it saves time, and a human editor reads every piece.
- Your approval. You check every fact and approve every piece before it is published, from your own account. Wise Mango never asks for your LinkedIn login.

Common questions
Can you write without revealing the roadmap?
Yes. The exclusion list starts with the roadmap and unreleased features. Posts discuss how you decide, not what is coming, and you approve every line.
Should a head of product post about their own company's product?
Only what is public and approved. The strongest posts are about judgement and method, which transfer without naming features.
Can you write about a failed launch?
Yes, with your approval and your company's, focusing on the lesson rather than confidential detail.
Can engineering or legal review drafts?
Yes. Extra sign-off steps are agreed in the written proposal so the cycle is clear before work starts.
Who is the audience for a product leader's feed?
Candidates, peers, customers and investors. The brief names the one you most need, because one feed rarely serves all four.
Who writes the content?
Shruti Kaushik writes and edits the work. AI supports drafting where it saves time, a human editor reads every piece and you approve before publishing from your own account.
